Projects that the club has been involved in over the years include Lionel Tarr’s WWII rules (the first hobby modern wargaming rules as published by Donald Featherstone in War Games), Skirmish Wargames, Alien Squad Leader and the History of Wargaming Project. It was the first club to run a table top sale exclusively devoted to wargaming.

The club meets every
Sunday from 2:30pm to 6:30pm at Lincombe Barn, Overndale Road, Downend, BS16
2RW.
It plays a large variety of games. New members are always welcome and the first couple of sessions are free.The club holds a huge collection of scenery.Facilities include free parking, toilets, use of a kitchen, and some light refreshments available to buy.

The weekly subscription of £3 for adults and
£1 for juniors, and a yearly membership fee of £12 for adults and £6 for
juniors. (Members must be at least 13 yrs old.)
